I’m Claire McGurrin, a 22-year-old Montreal-based graphic designer.
I have always been quite the storyteller, obsessed with finding meaning in music, art, photography and literature. Going to a high school with art specializations. I started writing as a hobby and eventually went on to study Linguistics and English Literature at Concordia University.
I loved studying language and literature, but I wanted to find a career path that let me stay in touch with my creative side. I took a break from university to rethink my choices, and reconnected with an old friend of mine, graphic design. Suddenly it clicked; I could still work in language and storytelling, but through graphics and applied arts in any domain. I applied for the graphic design program at Lasalle College in 2021 and haven’t looked back since.
What I strive to do in every one of my projects is to find the story you want to tell, and work with you to create something with that impact. I’m flexible in style to give you room for your personal flair. My goal is to tell your story transparently and evoke real, genuine feeling to your audience.
